About the rates
This converter uses live exchange rates, refreshed periodically and cached so pages stay fast. If your server can't reach the rate provider, it automatically falls back to built-in reference rates so the tool always works. The provider and refresh interval are set in config.php, and you can switch to any JSON rate API that uses USD as its base.
